|introduction='''Ghostbusters''' is an action video game released in 1984 developed and published by Activision, where players take on the role of a Ghostbuster team leader aiming to establish a profitable paranormal investigation business in a haunted New York City.
|gameplay=The core gameplay revolves around a driving and capture loop. Players navigate a city map in the Ecto-1, driving to flashing buildings where ghosts are causing disturbances. Upon arrival, they deploy two Ghostbusters to guide the iconic Slimer into a trap using proton packs, requiring precise timing and avoiding beam crossings, which incapacitate a team member.

Each successful capture earns money, while missed traps increase the city’s Psychokinetic Energy (PKE) level. As the PKE meter rises, more ghosts appear, and they may merge into the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, who destroys buildings and penalizes the player.

Players must manage funds to buy better equipment like upgraded vehicles, ghost traps, and tools like the Marshmallow Sensor and ghost bait. The game culminates in a final ascent up the Zuul building, where players must climb stairs while dodging ghosts, ultimately leading to a showdown at the rooftop temple to close the interdimensional gate.
|forklifts=At the beginning of the game, the player has to use a forklift to load equipment like traps and ghost bait into the Ecto-1 car.
