Duke Nukem Forever is a first-person shooter developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K in June 10th, 2011.

Twelve years after his legendary victory over the alien Cycloid Emperor, Duke Nukem has become a global celebrity, living a life of luxury in a Las Vegas penthouse. When a news report announces the return of the aliens, Duke is pulled from his glamorous routine to confront a new threat. Though the invaders initially appear peaceful, their true intentions quickly become clear as they begin abducting people and transforming the city into a hive of alien horror.

Forced to abandon diplomacy, Duke dons his trademark attitude and firepower to battle through Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam, and beyond. Armed with a mix of classic weapons and new gadgets, he fights through hordes of grotesque creatures, completes bizarre missions, and battles iconic bosses, all while delivering the same over-the-top one-liners and relentless bravado that defined the series.
