BloodRayne 2 is an action hack & slash video game and the second entry in the BloodRayne series. Unlike its predecessor, it does not follow the previous ending directly, instead jumping 60 to 70 years forward into a contemporary 2000s setting. The story follows Rayne as she seeks revenge against her father, Kagan, and his offspring, who have formed the malevolent Cult of Kagan.
Gameplay
The game features evolved combat mechanics, including upgraded twin blades, supernatural powers, and a grappling hook for environmental traversal and combat. Like the first title, it received "Terminal Cut" and "ReVamped" editions in 2020 and 2021, bringing high-definition enhancements to PC and modern consoles including the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Forklifts
The game retains the signature military green paint for the forklift seen in the original BloodRayne, but the model has been modernized to fit the 2000s setting. Notable upgrades to the vehicle include a more aerodynamic body and the addition of a protective roof.
