Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin is a side-scrolling action video game initially released for the SEGA Genesis in 1991. The narrative follows Spider-Man as he attempts to stop the Kingpin, who has framed him for planting a nuclear bomb in New York City.
Gameplay
To disarm the bomb, Spider-Man must defeat various villains to collect keys, including Doctor Octopus, Sandman, and Venom. The game features platforming challenges and combat utilizing web-slinging abilities. The SEGA CD version, titled The Amazing Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin, expanded the experience with voice acting, enhanced graphics, and additional levels like Mysterio's Funhouse.
