Tom Clancy's The Division is an action role-playing game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. Set in a near-future New York City following a viral pandemic, players act as Special Agents of the Strategic Homeland Division.
Gameplay
The game features a third-person cover-based shooting system within an open-world environment built on the Snowdrop engine. Agents are tasked with rebuilding operations in Manhattan, investigating the outbreak, and combating various criminal factions. It includes cooperative missions and the "Dark Zone," a high-risk social space for both PvP and PvE combat. The experience is heavily tied to RPG progression, gear customization, and loot acquisition.
