Soko-Ban is a puzzle game published by Spectrum Holobyte and released in 1987 for the Commodore 64, Apple II, Tandy TRS-80 Color Computer and DOS-operating IBM computers. This version was officially licensed by Thinking Rabbit and was the first version of the game released in western territories.
Gameplay
Being based on the original releases of Sokoban and Sokoban 2, this version features 53 Sokoban levels. There are two modes of gameplay: Play Mode, where the player can play the levels in order or pick specific levels, and Edit Mode, which allows the player to create his own Sokoban puzzles.
This version of the game also features competitive multiplayer, with up to four players alternating between each other. Scores are tallied by how many steps each player took and how long each took to complete the puzzle.
Forklifts
There are no forklifts in the actual game, but one can be seen on the title screen when starting the game.
