Mafia III is an action-adventure video game developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K. It was released in October 2016 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, and later for macOS and Google Stadia.
The game is set in the fictional city of New Bordeaux, a re-imagined version of New Orleans in 1968, and follows the story of Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran who returns to a life of crime to seek revenge for his adopted family, who were betrayed and murdered by the local Mafia.
The game's narrative is praised for its strong characters, confident storytelling, and social commentary on post-Vietnam America. However, the gameplay has been criticized for being repetitive and uninspired, with some technical issues and bugs.
In the game the player is able to drive the Wrinkler forklift.
