When Ryo meets Dejing Hong at the Ferry Terminal, he will plead Ryo for assistance. The Forklift job requires Ryo to transport various crates and items from Warehouse No.1 to a ship located at the Niaowu Harbor port. The route can vary on different attempts at the job.

When calling Goro Mihashi at Hotel Niaowu, Ryo can learn depending on what dialogue option the player chooses that Goro got his old job as a forklift operator at the Yokosuka Harbor and that he's seen as a legend there for defeating the Mad Angels.

Ryo is also able to obtain some fresh collectibles in the form of [[Forklift Toy Capsule (Shenmue III)|forklift toy capsules]], this time in the colors Red and Yellow.

Shenmue III is a 2019 action-adventure game, the last entry in the Shenmue trilogy, developed by Ys Net and originally published by Deep Silver. It follows teenage martial artist Ryo Hazuki as he continues his search for his father's killer in the mountains of 1980s Guilin, China.

Gameplay

Like its predecessors Shenmue and Shenmue 2, the game features open-world environments, brawler battles, and quick time events. It retains the series' signature day-and-night system, variable weather, and NPCs with daily schedules. The project was famously crowdfunded via Kickstarter, becoming the highest-funded video game in the platform's history at $6.3 million.

Forklifts

A forklift mini-game job is located in Niaowu, where Ryo assists Dejing Hong at the Ferry Terminal. Ryo must transport crates from Warehouse No.1 to a ship at the Niaowu Harbor; completing this work allows Ryo to unlock cabinets in the arcade. In a nod to the first game, calling Goro Mihashi reveals he has returned to his forklift job at Yokosuka Harbor. Players can also collect new forklift toy capsules in Red and Yellow.
