Mirror's Edge is a 2008 action-adventure platformer developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Set in a near-future city, it follows Faith Connors, an underground parkour courier transmitting messages while evading government surveillance.
Gameplay
The game features hundreds of first-person animations to convey Faith's movement, inspired by chase scenes from films like Casino Royale. Powered by Unreal Engine 3 with a custom lighting solution, the game boasts a unique art style utilizing strong primary colors and predominantly white outdoor environments. The narrative was written by Rhianna Pratchett, with a score by Solar Fields and the main theme "Still Alive" performed by Lisa Miskovsky.
