Extreme Forklifting 3 is the third installment in the DevM Games series, taking the forklift simulation genre into a surreal new direction. In this entry, the player literally lives the dream of a warehouse worker by playing as a "warehouse giraffe" tasked with solving logistical puzzles and delivering pallets.
Gameplay
The game is a level-based, third-person driving experience that introduces light platforming elements. Players must switch between different forklifts, traverse dangerous obstacles, and build bridges using pallets to reach their destinations. When in "giraffe-form" (on hoof), the player can jump across gaps and manually operate warehouse equipment such as levers and conveyor belts to clear the path for their machinery.
Forklifts
The forklifts in this sequel serve as both transport and puzzle-solving tools. Players use them to manipulate the environment, stack cargo to reach higher elevations, and navigate precarious warehouse architecture. The interaction between the giraffe protagonist and the mechanical forklift fleet forms the core of the game's unique "extreme" physics-based challenges.
