Series The Last of Us

The Last of Us is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Set in a world ravaged by a fungal pandemic, it follows Joel and Ellie as they traverse the United States.

Gameplay

The game focuses on the emotional bond between Joel and Ellie as they navigate a dangerous world filled with infected creatures and hostile human factions. The narrative explores themes of survival and loss, utilizing stealth, combat, and resource management. A remastered version was released for the PlayStation 4 in 2014, followed by a remake, The Last of Us Part I, for the PlayStation 5 and Windows. The story continues in the 2020 sequel, The Last of Us Part II, and has been adapted into a critically acclaimed HBO television series.

Forklifts

At the beginning of the game, as Joel and Tess approach a group of enemies, a yellow forklift is featured at the center of a small cutscene. In the expansion pack The Last of Us: Left Behind (2014), Ellie and Riley encounter another forklift during a chase sequence in an abandoned mall, though it is easily missed due to enemies blocking the path.
