The Haihan is a forklift driven by a NPC named Gus at the beginning of the game Half-Life. It has the brand Haihan decaled at its side.
Design
The design is simple, rocking a white colored body with red details. It has long forks, possibly making it able to lift two pallets at once.
History
The first appearance of a Forklift in the Half-Life series was used by one Black Mesa employee named Gus in the very beginning of the game.
Locations
At the very beginning of Half-Life several Gus's can be seen driving around the facility on their forklifts.

Trivia
- The forklifts follow scripted paths and are all driven by an identical model known as Gus, based on a janitor from one of the developer's high schools.
- The brand of the forklifts, Haihan, is named after the same developer's wife.
- In the expansion pack Blue Shift (2001), Gus and his forklifts can again be seen during the opening tram ride.
- In the PlayStation 2 exclusive co-op expansion Decay (2001), Gus makes a cameo on an info-screen with motivational text for workplace safety.
