Duke Nukem Forever is a first-person shooter developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K in June 10th, 2011.
Twelve years after his legendary victory over the alien Cycloid Emperor, Duke Nukem has become a global celebrity, living a life of luxury in a Las Vegas penthouse. When a news report announces the return of the aliens, Duke is pulled from his glamorous routine to confront a new threat. Though the invaders initially appear peaceful, their true intentions quickly become clear as they begin abducting people and transforming the city into a hive of alien horror.
Forced to abandon diplomacy, Duke dons his trademark attitude and firepower to battle through Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam, and beyond. Armed with a mix of classic weapons and new gadgets, he fights through hordes of grotesque creatures, completes bizarre missions, and battles iconic bosses, all while delivering the same over-the-top one-liners and relentless bravado that defined the series.
Gameplay
Duke fights his way through devastated cityscapes, neon-lit strip clubs, and military bunkers using heavy firepower. He wields classic weapons like the shotgun and chaingun, along with gadgets such as the shrink ray and freeze beam. Each level has intense combat, environmental puzzles, and vehicle sections, like plowing through enemy lines in a forklift or blasting alien fighters from a turret.
Forklifts
In the game Duke is able to operate a yellow Forklift to progress. When plowing over enemies with the forklift he throws the one-liner "Fork you!".
