Metal Gear Solid is a stealth action game developed by Konami. The game follows the story of Solid Snake, a special forces soldier who is sent on a mission to infiltrate a military base and stop a powerful weapon known as Metal Gear. The game is set in a fictional scenario where a terrorist group has taken over a military base and is planning to use Metal Gear to launch a nuclear attack. Solid Snake must navigate through the base, avoiding detection and fighting enemies, while uncovering the truth behind the mission and the motives of the terrorist group.

At the beginning of the game while Solid Snake encounters some enemies there is an arctic forklift he is able to use as cover and hide behind.

Remake

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is a stealth-action game developed by Silicon Knights and Konami, released in 2004 for the Nintendo GameCube. It is a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid, featuring graphical improvements, new cutscenes, and gameplay elements introduced in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.

The game follows Solid Snake, a retired mercenary who is called upon by the U.S. government to handle a hostile takeover of an Alaskan military base by his former special forces group.

The forklift in the remake is completely different from the orignal. Here it is yellow, and Solid Snake is unable to use it as cover since it is parked closer to the wall.
