Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne is a third-person shooter game developed by Remedy Entertainment and released in 2003. The game follows Max Payne, an NYPD detective who is drawn into a series of tragic events in New York City. After investigating a series of murders by a group of contract killers known as the Cleaners, Max encounters Mona Sax, who was assumed dead at the end of the previous game. As Max and Mona work together to uncover the truth, they face numerous challenges and enemies, leading to a climax where Max must confront the main antagonist, Vlad.
The game is known for its neo-noir storytelling, intense action sequences, and the iconic bullet time mechanic. It also features a rich narrative with multiple endings, depending on the difficulty level. The story delves into Max's personal struggles and his quest for redemption, making it a significant entry in the Max Payne series.
There are several yellow forklifts found inside the warehouse in Chapter 1 - Elevator Doors. Some of them are for decoration only. Others are actually driven by NPC's as scripted events crashing into objects trying to kill the player.
