Arcade Paradise is a time management simulation game where players take on the role of Ashley, a college dropout tasked with managing a laundromat business while secretly expanding it into an arcade. The game blends elements of business simulation with a collection of mini-games, allowing players to manage both the laundromat and the arcade, with the latter featuring over 35 fictional arcade games inspired by classic titles.

Initially, the game's early hours focus on the tedious tasks of running the laundromat, such as washing clothes, cleaning trash, and maintaining the facility, which can feel monotonous. However, as players progress, they unlock upgrades that make managing the laundromat less time-consuming, allowing them to focus more on the arcade side of the business.

The arcade section features a variety of games, some of which are fun and engaging, while others can be repetitive or challenging. Players can also customize their arcade by arranging games, setting prices, and optimizing popularity to maximize earnings. The game's story involves balancing the demands of the laundromat with the growing success of the arcade, eventually leading to a climax where the player's father discovers the secret arcade and confronts them.

In one of the mini-games, where the player is tasked to sort crates with a crane inside a warehouse, the occasional forklift will drive across the screen.
