Beyond Sunset is a cyberpunk first-person shooter with a rich story and RPG elements, set in the crime-ridden, plague-stricken Sunset City. The game follows Lucy, an enhanced street samurai searching for her lost memories across large, open, interactive levels filled with yakuza, zombies, robots, and bosses.

Gameplay

The game features fluid movement, RPG elements, and a lo-fi aesthetic inspired by classic first-person shooters. It includes a synthwave soundtrack and extensive mod support, allowing players to create and share their own levels and weapons. Currently in Early Access, the game launched with three episodes, with plans to expand the narrative further upon full release.

Forklifts

In typical cyberpunk fashion, forklifts appear as environmental props throughout the world. These blocky, lo-fi models are placed around various industrial and urban sections of Sunset City to add to the game's gritty, functional aesthetic.
