Resident Evil 3 (Remake) is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom as a remake of the original 1999 game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The story follows former S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine as she attempts to escape a T-virus outbreak in Raccoon City while being relentlessly hunted by the intelligent bioweapon known as Nemesis.

Gameplay

Players navigate through the crumbling streets of Raccoon City, solving puzzles and managing limited resources to survive encounters with the undead. The remake utilizes the RE Engine to provide photorealistic environments and an over-the-shoulder third-person perspective, diverging from the fixed camera angles of the 1999 original.

Forklifts

Both the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and the 2020 remake feature forklifts, though the designs differ significantly. The unit in the 1999 original resembles a hybrid between a pallet stacker and a reach truck. In contrast, the forklifts found throughout the remake are standard counterbalance models, appearing frequently as Jill traverses the city's industrial and commercial districts.
