Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a third-person shooter and hack-and-slash game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. Serving as a direct sequel to the 2011 original, the game is set in the grimdark Warhammer 40,000 universe during the early 42nd Millennium.
Gameplay
The story follows Captain Titus of the Ultramarines as he leads the defense against a massive Tyranid invasion and a hidden Chaos plot during the Era Indomitus. Utilizing Saber's Swarm Engine, the game features large-scale battles against hundreds of enemies simultaneously. Ranged combat is blended with a satisfying melee system that emphasizes parrying and dodging. In addition to the main campaign, the game includes a cooperative "Operations" mode designed for high replayability.
Forklifts
Forklifts appear as environmental assets throughout the game's industrial and hive city levels, though they are not controllable by the player.
Trivia
