Bridge Constructor Portal is a puzzle game that combines the engineering mechanics of bridge building with the iconic elements of the Portal series. Set within the Aperture Science Enrichment Center, players must satisfy the demands of GLaDOS while ensuring their test subjects reach the exit safely.
Gameplay
The game features the sarcastic guidance of GLaDOS through 60 testing chambers. Players must construct complex structures using struts and cables to bridge gaps and navigate hazards. The inclusion of portals, aerial faith plates, propulsion gel, and cubes adds a distinct layer of strategy, allowing for unconventional paths that defy standard physics.
Forklifts
In this entry of the Bridge Constructor series, the standard vehicles are replaced by Aperture Science-branded forklifts. The primary objective of every level is to build a structure sturdy enough to support these forklifts (and occasionally entire convoys of them) as they drive toward the exit, often while being flung through portals or bouncing off gels.
