Crows: The Battle Action is a 2D beat 'em up for the Sega Saturn, based on the popular Crows manga series. Developed by Athena Co., the game features a super-deformed (SD) art style heavily inspired by Technos' Kunio-kun series, particularly River City Ransom.

Gameplay

The game follows a linear structure across numerous short levels where players battle hoodlums, police officers, and other urban foes. The roster includes Bouya and Rindaman, with additional characters unlockable by defeating them in combat. The narrative spans five story arcs from the manga, culminating in a rooftop showdown against Zetton.

Forklifts

During the side-scrolling progression, a yellow forklift appears as an environmental obstacle. This unit is controlled by a non-player character (NPC), adding a motorized hazard to the street-brawling gameplay typical of the genre's industrial and dockside stages.
