Resident Evil Outbreak is a survival horror game set during the early hours of the T-Virus outbreak in Raccoon City, just before the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3. The game follows eight ordinary civilians as they attempt to survive and escape the collapsing city.

Gameplay

The game features cooperative survival horror gameplay centered around eight distinct playable characters, each with unique abilities and strengths. Players take on the role of one of these survivors, navigating through scenarios set in Raccoon City during the T-Virus outbreak.

The game emphasizes teamwork, requiring players to manage a team of two AI-controlled characters, issuing commands via directional prompts on the analog stick to direct them to move, help, or assist in combat. Communication is key, as players can use quick commands to call teammates, request help, or share items, making it a dynamic co-op experience even in single-player mode.

Forklifts

There are several forklifts in the game of the same model. One of them is located in the liquor room and used by the player to lift some crates to advance the story.

To operate the forklift levers the player must first obtain the Forklift Key (RE Outbreak).
