Skate, stylized skate. (2025) is a free-to-play, online-only massive multiplayer sandbox developed by Full Circle and published by Electronic Arts, released into Early Access on September 16, 2025. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, the game serves as the fourth major entry in the franchise and is the first to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. Unlike its predecessors, this title is built from the ground up using the Frostbite engine and features a living, breathing open world designed to support up to 150 concurrent players.

Gameplay

The gameplay retains the series' signature "Flick-it" control system for executing tricks while introducing new mechanics such as building climbing and off-board parkour. Players customize their skater and explore the city to complete missions, unlock areas, and earn cosmetic items through progression or optional in-game purchases, though the game explicitly excludes pay-to-win elements. While the campaign lacks the physical presence of real-life pro skaters found in earlier titles, it focuses on creating a skateboarding utopia where players can engage in stunt challenges, use a video editor, and curate their own soundtrack by grabbing music tracks scattered throughout the map.

Forklifts

On the map Isle of Grom players can enter an industrial area where they can find forklifts, and yes, the forks are grindable!
