The HVY Forklift appears in Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto 4. The Forklift is powered by a 5-tonne engine and is a single-speed vehicle that runs on a gas cylinder/canister. It moves at quite a slow speed and is very fragile to crashes or gunfire. The gas canister on the back, if shot, can explode and destroy the vehicle as well. If it tips to the side, the Forklift can no longer be brought back up to its upright position on its wheels due to its weight distribution.

The Forklift is a yellow Utility vehicle used to help lift up boxes or trailers in industrial areas or factories. The design of the Forklift is just like any traditional Forklift with the lift at the front that can be moved upwards and downwards.

It appears to be heavily influenced by the Yale GLP060VX Forklift model. It is powered by a gas canister that is either LPG or just Propane gas. Shooting it causes a leak to take place that can even explode, destroying the vehicle.

Locations

  • Many can be found in the Port of Los Santos and are particularly common around Terminal.
  • Spawns in Devin Weston's hangar at the Los Santos International Airport.
  • Can rarely be found in the farms out in the countryside near the McKenzie Field Hangar.
  • Almost always parked next to a building on a dirt road just off Grapeseed Main Street, near the intersection north of the Alamo Sea.
  • Can be found at the railyard near Pillbox Hill Medical Center.
