Escape from Tarkov is a multiplayer tactical first-person shooter game developed by Battlestate Games, set in the fictional Norvinsk region of Russia. The game is known for its realistic and hardcore gameplay, combining elements of survival, looting, and combat. Players can choose to play as either the United Security (USEC) or the Battle Encounter Assault Regiment (BEAR), each with distinct characteristics and cosmetic differences.
The game features three main modes: online PMC raids, Scav raids, and a temporary offline mode. In these raids, players must survive and extract while fighting against other players and AI-driven scavengers. The game also includes a hideout system where players can upgrade their living area to gain in-game bonuses.
Escape from Tarkov has been compared to military simulation games such as the ArmA series, with a focus on realistic ballistics, health systems, and weapon customization. The game is currently in beta and has undergone several updates and patches, with periodic wipes of progress. Additionally, a competitive mode called Escape from Tarkov: Arena was released as a standalone product on the Epic Games Store.
Quest: Forklift Certified
In the game players can receive the quest Forklift Certified from a mechanic NPC, asking them to locate 12 broken forklifts within a decaying factory so he can build a new forklift from the scavenged parts.
